Yeah, that happens sometimes with authors sharing the same name. There's a guy out there right now with my name, just a different initial. I know my buddy Brian Keene had a friendly go 'round with another author with the same name. Gotta figure there's at least one other Steve King out there hammering his brains out, trying to get a book written.

The Doors movie with Kilmer was actually quite good. Almost scary how Kilmer was "channeling" Morrison. Very well done. But, I like Kilmer in general, think he's a hell of an actor in darn near anything he's done.

If Mike hasn't read Dirt yet, keep an eye out on ebay for a copy.

Hey did you see Kilmer in Commanche Moon? The charactors were very well portrayed compared to when Lonesome Dove aired.

Wish I'd have caught Comanche Moon. I rarely ever have time, along with peace and quiet, to watch anything on TV anymore.

Just a reminder, the third book in Golden's Veil trilogy hits in just a week or two. I picked up Borderkind the other day and found I'm going to have to reread Myth Hunters. I started Borderkind and was just kind of lost.

Golden also has a book coming in May that is a collaboration with another great guy, Tim Lebbon. This will be the first book in a new series but I'm not sure what it is about yet.

I CAN'T WAIT!!! The Veil series is my fave~

Borderkind starts out a bit slow but picks up pace rather quickly and doesn't stop...having to wait for the 3rd book has been a test of my patience...and it was a loooooong winter too~ grrrrrrrr!

I think Sisterhood is a comic. I'd have to check to be sure. Also, don't know if you saw it or not but he's also writing a blog a month over at MTV books. Just do a google and you'll find it. He and a bunch of other folks who have books coming out through MTV's publishing wing are doing monthly entries. His latest was last Thursday or Friday I believe.

I do think Myth Hunters was some of his best writing to date.

I'm so incredibly far behind on my reading.... But, I did land a few writing gigs recently so that kind of offsets the lack of reading time ;)
