food pantries

any one know why food pantries are only open like 1 or 2 hours at a time and only one day a week? a couple are open 4 hours a week. and some are by appt. only..i am thinking if you cant afford food, you sure cant afford to have a phone to call to make that appt. to go get some food. none of that makes much sense to me at all. anyone know why this is?

heres the scoop..my husband has been under the care of a hearing specialist, and even had surgury (we had to pay almost 3 grand out of pocket) to have his hearing restored in one ear..surgery did not work..3 months later, had a recheck and docter confirmed it did not work..our option was to redue the surgery by yet another docter in madison,,and it "should work this time"...well we were told BEFORE the surgery it should have worked the first time..so then we asked for other options ...

ever see that commercial on tv Cash 4Gold?, they pay the highest price for your gold?? NOT!!! rip off!!..i sent in a gold chain necklace valued at $150 and they sent me $11.38 for it..now i wasnt expecting much but i thought MAYBE $50..not no stinking 11 bucks..anyone else deal with them?

Well, someone dumped to kittens in our neighborhood. One yellow/white male and one grey/yellow/white female. I'm guessing they are around 3 months old. I think they are litter mates but the male is bigger. They are sweet little cats who were starving. They were so thin. Well, I have them in my garage feeding and caring for them, but I can't keep them. If you know anyone who's thinking about getting a cat, let me know. They are using a litter box with no problem. Finally got the hd right and now it won't charge or work off the cord. I had it into a place 2 times for the same problem at 60 bucks a try. They said we were being to rough on the cord and where it plugs in needed to be soldered. The plug in doesn't seem loose to me, and I really don't want to pay them another $60 for it to last only a little while. Actually I probaly would but my husband can be a cheapskate. I just don't want to listen to him LOL

While my son was at bootcamp I got stuck with his bearded dragon. I had to sit here everynight and hand feed it crickets and wax worms. I had to do this because it's in a large bird cage, it gets to crazy in a tank. Well my son comes home from boot camp it's nice outside so he puts the cage outside and leaves for a little while. Wow. All I can say is this show is so well done. You never know what's going on. I love this show. This last episode had me crying and laughing and my jaw dropping. What the hell is going on? And losing key players it still works. I thought when they killed off Charlie it would spark a revolt. It still works. They have wonderful minds to come up with this stuff. If you've missed an episode, they play full episodes online. Which is perfect if your sitting out roasting marshmallows with the kids ...

dont waste the movie and see Forgetting Sarah Marshel..it sucked big time..very poor lighting during filming,,or the show boat dont make the needed adjustments to make the picture better..over all the movie was not good.
