I think it is a mulberry tree

I had one sprout up at our old house and I staked it up about 5 years ago. It is about 10 feet tall and has thousands of mulberries every year.

I guess I'll just let it grow awhile and see what happens. I have cut it down poisened it tried digging it up nothing has worked. I was never able to get deep enough to get the roots.

Stone was your old pond natural or did you build it? The reason I'm asking is last summer the pond was just getting really pretty, the plants were growing awesome and covering the liner. My last few years of hard work were finally paying off well my son wasn't paying attention he let the puppy out and SHE SHREDDED THE LINER. There is no way to repair the damage except start all over. I'm wondering there has to be a way to rebuild one (bigger naturally) without having to worry about an expensive liner.
