I use to make Pepper Steak and it was so easy and TO DIE FOR!
Here's what I did:

1 round steak, trimmed and cut into bite-size strips
1 green pepper diced
1 white onion diced
1 clove garlic diced
2 T. EVO (extra virgin olive oil)

LOTS and LOTS of black pepper (like Steak Diane-style)
*optional red pepper flakes- I use these in everything from soup to nuts!

In a large iron skillet, heat olive oil to temp and while waiting, smash garlic clove using flat blade butcher knife and heel of hand, to remove skin-chop fine. Dice onion, green pepper. Add onion, garlic and grn pepper to pan and carmelize, 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Black pepper steak strips liberally, covering them til almost black-pat the pepper in to make it stick. This is like Steak Diane, for those of you who like it SPICEY! Add steak strips to pan and sear all sides, add salt to taste. Add peppers, onions and cover all with water. Cover and simmer on Low heat for 1- 1 1/2 hour, or until meat falls apart. Add a little water if it cooks down, but don't let it stick to pan. You can drizzle juice left in the pan on the sandwich when you serve it up.

When meat is done, it will cut with a fork like butter and will melt in your mouth! Veggies will turn to mush but it will add so much flavor to the meat, you will not believe it~

Serve on a hoagie bun (Turanos makes an awesome steak bun) and enjoy!!!thu thu thu thu thu
