Mark your calendars: Our very own Beast Girl, Linda Godfrey is going to be doing a full hour on the History Channel Wednesday January 23rd at 9PM CST

American Werewolf - Eyewitnesses in Wisconsin and Michigan report seeing a tall hairy man - beast some describe as a dogman...a centuries old legend based on myth, not a real animal. But what are they seeing? MonsterQuest will deploy professional hunters and trackers in an area with recent sightings, armed with a tranquilizer gun. And for the first time eyewitness accounts will be put to the test, using polygraphs and hypnosis&the results will astonish.

We've been watching these episodes and we believe this new program to be the most concise, accurate and professionally done series yet!

Werewolves Of London
------Warren Zevon

I saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand,
Walking through the streets of Soho in the rain.
He was looking for the place called Lee Ho Fook's,
Going to get a big dish of beef chow mein.
Ahhwooooo... Werewolves of London, Ahwooooo!
Ahhwooooo... Werewolves of London, Ahwooooo!

You hear him howling around your kitchen door,
You better not let him in.
Little old lady got mutilated late last night,
Werewolves of London again.
Ahhwooooo... Werewolves of London, Ahwooooo!
Ahhwooooo... Werewolves of London, Ahwooooo! Huh!

He's the hairy handed gent who ran amok in Kent,
Lately he's been overheard in Mayfair.
You better stay away from him,
He'll rip your lungs out, Jim,
Huh! I'd like to meet his tailor.
Ahhwooooo... Werewolves of London, Ahwooooo!
Ahhwooooo... Werewolves of London, Ahwooooo!

Well, I saw Lon Chaney walking with the Queen,
Doing the Werewolves of London.
I saw Lon Chaney, Jr. walking with the Queen,
Doing the Werewolves of London.
I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's,
And his hair was perfect.
Ahhwooooo... Werewolves of London, Huh! Draw blood!
Ahhwooooo... Werewolves of London...

We watched it, it was done very well, but Linda was a little miffed that they bounced all over the place on what and where things happened. They filmed some eye-witness reenactments in various locations that were not quite right, spruce swamps that don't exist, etc.
The witnesses gave very good descriptions of what they saw and experienced and were very believable, in that they truly believed what they saw was real and not some person in a monkey suit or a brown bear. Most of us would agree, if you see a bear in the woods, the brain is going to register that is a bear. If you see some hair "thing" that doesn't look like a bear, nobody in the world is going to convince your brain that was a bear, and part of some mass hallucination, like some psychologists would have you believe.
Other than that, I would say it is a must-see episode!
